HERMON- Members of the Lynde Lodge spent Saturday preparing for their Thanksgiving meal give away event.
They also distributed some of the thanksgiving dinners that they had in stick but according to the lodge secretary, the main goal was getting ready to distribute the dinners during the holiday, while following COVID-19 protocols.
“We’re expecting quite a good turnout this year. We’ve served over 400 in the past and that’s sitting in a little lodge, so we had to get it all together to make sure it was all accounted for, that’s what this morning was all about,” said Rick Spreng, the lodge’s secretary.
He added that the dinners will be served from 11 to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
