AUGUSTA – The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maine has climbed to 275, up 22 from the previous day, the director of the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday during his daily briefing.
Of the total of those stricken by the illness, 43 are health care workers, Dr. Nariv Shah said in his latest update.
In addition, Somerset County has been added to the list of Maine counties in which cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed, Shah said.
While 49 people have been hospitalized for the illness at some point since coronavirus hit Maine earlier this month, 41 Mainers have recovered and are out of isolation, Shah said.
