AUGUSTA – The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that 3,558 Mainers have contracted COVID-19, an increase of 19 from Sunday. Of those cases, 399 were considered probable.
Meanwhile, no new deaths attributed to the illness, leaving the statewide total at 114, the Maine CDC posted on its website.
The latest CDC COVID-19 statistics show 3,008 people have recovered from the virus since it hit Maine in mid-March, while a cumulative total of 372 people have required hospitalization to treat the virus.
So far, more than 127,000 people in Maine have been tested for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC.
