AUGUSTA — The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported Friday that the number of COVID-19 cases in Maine has grown to 4,115, up 26 from Thursday, but the number of deaths attributed to the virus remained at 126.
Of the total cases counted in Maine so far, 418 cases were considered probable and 385 were considered active, Maine CDC posted on its website.
The latest CDC COVID-19 statistics show 3,604 people have recovered from the virus since it hit Maine in mid-March, while a total of 399 people have required hospitalization to treat the virus.
So far, nearly 214,000 people in Maine have been tested for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC.
