AUGUSTA — The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported Thursday that the number of COVID-19 cases in Maine has grown to 4,089, up 19 from Wednesday, but the number of deaths attributed to the virus remained at 126.
Of the total cases counted in Maine so far, 410 cases were considered probable and 371 were considered active, Maine CDC posted on its website.
The latest CDC COVID-19 statistics show 3,592 people have recovered from the virus since it hit Maine in mid-March, while a total of 395 people have required hospitalization to treat the virus.
So far, more than 211,000 people in Maine have been tested for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC.
