AUGUSTA – The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported Thursday that the number of people who have contracted COVID-19 now stands at 3,328, up 34 from Wednesday. Of the total, 377 cases were defined as probable.
No new deaths were attributed to the illness, leaving the total to date at 105, Maine CDC posted on its website.
The latest CDC COVID-19 statistics show 2,698 people have recovered from the virus since it hit Maine, while a cumulative total of 354 people have required hospitalization to treat the virus.
So far, almost 108,000 people in Maine have been tested for COVID-19, according to the Maine CDC.
