AUGUSTA – The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported Wednesday that COVID-19 has claimed the life of one more Mainer, bringing the statewide death toll to 95.
On its web site, Maine CDC said the number of COVID-19 cases across the state now stands at 2,418, up 41 from Tuesday. Of the total, 266 of the cases were defined as probable cases.
The latest CDC COVID-19 statistics show 1,699 people have recovered from the virus since it hit Maine, while 285 people have required hospitalization to treat the virus.
So far, nearly 58,000 people in Maine have been tested for COVID-19.
