BANGOR – One man is dead after being found injured in a Bangor nightclub parking lot early Saturday morning.
Bangor Police and Fire responded to the call around 1:15 a.m. at Half Acre Nightclub’s parking lot at 190 Harlow Street.
Bangor Police said the victim, 25-year-old Demetrius Snow of Bangor, was involved in a fight that resulted in life-threatening injuries.
Snow was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center where he died.
According to the Bangor Police Department, 34-year-old Rayshaun Moore of Bangor was arrested and charged with one count of Knowing and/or Intentional Murder.
Moore was taken to Penobscot County Jail where police said he will await his first court appearance.
Half Acre Nightclub released a statement on their Facebook page that said after reviewing nearby video surveillance, it was determined the parties involved never entered the nightclub.
According to the statement, safety and security are top priorities to staff at Half Acre Nightclub and they’re working closely with the Bangor Police Department.
An autopsy will be done at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta.
