DOVER-FOXCROFT – Members of the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department responded to the report of man passed out in a car on the Hewett Road Monday.
Officers identified the subject as 33-year old Phillip Herbest, Jr., of Milo.
Herbest is currently on probation with search and test conditions, police said.
According to officers, the search of the vehicle uncovered more than 34 grams of fentanyl and nearly 37 grams of methamphetamine.
Packaging materials, scales and approximately $1,000 in cash was also discovered, police said.
We’re told Herbest was taken to the Piscataquis County Jail where he remains on a probation hold.
Authorities said more charges are likely, including Class A drug trafficking, based on the amount of the drugs seized.
