PORTLAND – A New York man charged in the 2017 death of a Maine woman is being held without bail.
Justice Harold Stewart on Friday ordered Carine Reeves, 39, whose street name is “terror,” be held at the Cumberland County Jail until his May trial in Washington County.
Reeves and Lewiston resident Quaneysha Greeley were initially charged with murder in the shooting death of 55-year-old Sally Shaw of New Gloucester.
Her body was found on July 19, 2017 with a bullet wound to the head on the side of a road in Cherryfield.
Greeley entered a plea agreement in 2018 to testify against Reeves, her former boyfriend, in exchange for the murder charge against her being dismissed.
