BANGOR- If you’ve driven by the King’s house on West Broadway recently, you may have noticed a unique sculpture in the works.
Josh Landry is a chainsaw artist from North Anson.
He was contacted by Tabitha King to give life to a dead tree in front of the iconic house.
Landry has been doing this since he was about 15.
While he’s done many other projects, he said this one is definitely a career highlight.
“She wanted the tree to be morphing into the book case so the tree is giving us everything,” Landry explained. “It’s been a cool concept and I‘ve enjoyed doing it and working with Tabitha. She’s a wonderful lady.”
Landry said he expects to finish the sculpture at some point in the next two weeks.
