GARDINER – One person is arrested after a shooting and stabbing in Gardiner Saturday morning.
Dylan Ketcham, 21-years-old, of Gardiner is charged with elevated aggravated assault according to Steve McCausland, the spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Two men injured were found outside a home on Lincoln Ave. just after 1 a.m. police said. Both were flown by Lifeflight to Maine Medical Center in Portland where, according to McCausland, they received emergency surgery.
The names of the two victims are being withheld at this time as police continue to monitor their conditions.
A State police canine assisted Gardiner and State Police with finding Ketchman. Police said he was found about a half mile away in the foundation of an abandoned building.
According to Maine State Police, Ketcham is being held at the Kennebec County Jail.
