BANGOR – Voters throughout Penobscot County were faced with whether to approve a $6 million bond issue that would provide upgrades to the regional communications center.
As of about 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, nearly a dozen towns and cities had provided results. Those results showed a majority of voters were in favor of the upgrades, with 9,367 voting to approve the bond issue and 3,029 voting against the measure.
