SKOWHEGAN – Five people are facing charges after Skowhegan police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency searched two Indian Ridge Apartments Tuesday morning.
Skowhegan Police Chief David Bucknam says the two agencies have been conducting a criminal investigation for several weeks in response to complaints of drug trafficking at the apartments.
He said Tuesday’s search resulted in the recovery of 15 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of heroin and $5,700 in cash alleged to be illegal proceeds of drug crimes.
Randy Willard, 37, and Kacey Davis, 33, of Skowhegan are charged with aggravated trafficking.
Jason Cole, 41, of Skowhegan is charged with possession of drugs and resisting arrest.
Schiavone Morton, 41, New York City, is charged with charged with aggravated trafficking, and Charles Nickerson, 27, of Madison is charged with a violation of probation.
