ADDISON — The body of an Addison man, who was reported missing last week, was found over the weekend, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
State police and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office had issued a silver alert for 76-year-old Daniel Beauregard, who was reported missing on September 8 around 10:50 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office Tuesday afternoon, Beauregard’s body was found inside a submerged vehicle at the South Addison Town Landing on Sept. 12. The submerged vehicle, which was identified as Beauregard’s, was reported to authorities around noon that day.
Authorities don’t believe Beauregard’s death is suspicious, but his body was taken to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
Maine Marine Patrol, Maine Forestry Service and Maine State Police assisted the sheriff’s office in investigating the incident.
