BOWDOINHAM – Police say a Bradley truck driver was involved in a crash that shut down a portion of I-295 Monday.
According to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland, heavy rain was the cause of the accident.
McCausland said a car driven by 41-year-old Susan Dubuisson of Farmingdale hydroplaned, which forced 57-year-old Harry Pratt of Bradley and his tractor trailer full of trash off the road.
Pratt was uninjured and Dubuisson was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, McCausland said.
Northbound traffic was down to one lane for hours.
