BANGOR- The snow didn’t stop dozens in Bangor from taking part in a rally on the eve of the expected impeachment vote in Washington D.C.
Folks with “Bangor Indivisible” and “Mainers for Accountable Leadership” organized the protest at Pierce Memorial Park.
Those rallying tonight say they believe President Trump should be held accountable for trying to interfere with the 2020 elections.
“The truth is what we expect from our students, what I expect from the students in my class,” said Linda Mosley, a school teacher in Milford. “I believe that the president and all of our representatives, be they elected or appointed, need to follow the truth.”
Similar rallies took place in Bar Harbor, Belfast, and Portland.
All were part of nationwide “Nobody is Above the Law” rallies.
