BREWER – Brewer legislator Arthur Verow died Thursday morning.
Verow served as Brewer city clerk for 40 years before being elected to the Brewer city council and then the Maine House of Representatives.
Gov. Janet Mills released a statement saying, “Archie was a passionate public servant who dedicated all of his life to serving the people of Brewer and the state Maine. … His commitment to community and his tireless defense of Maine seniors will be sorely missed.”
Arthur “Archie” Verow was 77.
