HAMPDEN – Firefighters said slippery road conditions were the cause of a single vehicle rollover crash on I-95 Sunday afternoon.
Hampden firefighter and medic Matthew Roope said around 1:00 p.m., when the weather started to change to sleet, they responded to mile marker 177 southbound for an accident.
With help from emergency crews, they were able to get one person out of the vehicle. According to Roope, the injuries were not serious and the one person involved had mostly bumps and bruises.
A viewer, who preferred not to be named, sent ABC7 & Fox 22 photos of the scene.
