BANGOR – Small business owners gathered Monday to discuss some of the challenges facing them. U.S. Senate candidate Sara Gideon hosted the round table discussion.
“What we are hearing from businesses that are with us today is whether it is the issue of taxes or whether it is the issue of healthcare they are really feeling left behind,” Gideon said.
Small business owner Robin Fowler Pratt was among those who took part.
“Anyone who is a good business leader wants to do it profitably, successfully and comfort certainly is veritable term but we want to be able to say we can employ people and give back to the community and that’s certainly at risk right now,” she said.
While in Bangor, Gideon also shared her vision for the state as well as campaign priorities.
