BANGOR- It’s the end of an era for many.
On Thursday night, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiered in theaters.
It’s the last film of the Skywalker saga.
Generations of fans were at Bangor Mall Cinemas to see the film.
Many of them said they hope it will tie up some loose ends.
“I liked the original trilogy when I was just a toddler,” said Jake Gillis, a Star Wars fan. “In eighth or ninth grade, the prequel trilogy came out and I was just at that age to be enveloped in it.”
“It’s something parents and kids can both enjoy. It’s something everyone can relate to and enjoy at the same time,” said Will Hesketh, the owner of Bangor Comic and Toy Con.
All but one showing of the film sold out opening night.
Shows are already selling out on other days as well.
