ORONO – It’s fall, let the festivities begin. The town of Orono will have walking adventures around the area.
“The Case of the Mysterious Maple” is an outdoor community puzzle made to promote COVID-19 awareness among college students.
The town of Orono recently received a Keep Maine Healthy grant.
According to Orono’s parks and recreation coordinator, this is a unique way to spread the message.
“You go around town finding different puzzles, solving different and following a story around the town,” said Meghan Mazzella, parks and recreation coordinator for the town of Orono.
After the five puzzles are complete, participants will receive a coupon for one large pizza from Pat’s Pizza.
With no cost, families and friends can enjoy the puzzle quest in the month of October.
